Each season we've been decorating our craft closet by switching out colors + prints! DIY Advent Calendar

The back part of the advent calendar is wrapping paper and the frame is from Ikea 3 years ago! The ornaments are DIY as well (a big project which I really enjoyed working on when the girls were in bed) and if you want something simpler, I shared a much less challenging + budget friendly design last year which can be found over in Instagram, under my story highlights titled, "DIY Advent calendar."

Spooky Craft Closet w/HoneyCanDo

The white and gold bins on the top shelf are from  HoneyCanDo + I'm so happy with the quality of them as they really hold  up with all our paints, paint brushed, spray paint, ribbon and craft supplies inside and the smooth gold + brass handles have made it so much easier to slide the bins in and out of the closet. An upgrade long over due!

Paper Plate Crafts || Halloween

Witch Faces! with of course girly witch hats to complete the look. The golden hair witch was made with two paper plates sandwiching tissue paper strips. Then a full break down of how I created the other one with her curly can be found here + a short more advanced version here.

Making The Wings:

For the girls wings, I placed an entire 9x12 felt piece (regular felt size) on each girls shoulders and measured down to their elbow to cut the piece into a rectangle. Then I folded that rectangle piece in half to make yet again, another smaller rectangle and cut a half circle on one corner, thus making a wing shape!
