Both of my girls LOVED how this one turned out! Although in the reel it's mostly my hands (as this one has several steps to it so I decided to film just me for all of you this round) Though most of this one was and can be done either with and or by kids! Here's how we broke this one down.
Directions:
Step 1: Parent: Setup your paint colors, clean and dirty water cups + canvas on craft mat
Step 2:Parent: Draw lopsided "V" with slight lean to the left + right from center bottom.
Step 3:Kids: Paint back of leafs with lots of paint! LOTS.
Step 4:Kids: Stamp your painted leaves onto the canvas by following each "V" line. Then let dry completely.
Step 5:Parent + Kid: Trace light-up pumpkin on top of an orange piece of card stock. Then cut out shape. Using command strips. Connect to pumpkin and after painting the stem gold. (or glue gun if you don't want a Jack-O-Latern)
Step 6: Kids: Paint Mod Podge on top ends of leafs only. Then sprinkle respective glitter to it's color (ex: pink glitter to pink leafs) Let dry as you move onto pumpkin.
Step 7:Slide dowel into pumpkin stem "nook" and measure/cut its exact length. Repeat so you have 2 pieces of wooden down cut to fit your pumpkin.
Step 8: Glue gun both wooden dowel's to painted leaf canvas to hold stem (1) and keep in place on bottom (2nd dowel). Flip light up switch to on + place pumpkin onto canvas. Enjoy!Fully supply list for this light-up pumpkin fall art display
