I give you... our pink PNW tooth fairy! Because A) all the pink, and B) the rain boots. We had a lot of fun with this one! And it's a great Halloween costume for any mom who prefers to purchase things which can be used again (like me!).

I love that the wings, wand, and mini crown can be used for dress up which is taking place lately more and more in our house. That, and our new-found discovery of "independence" make for a truly exciting rainy-day afternoon of playing dress up.

So below, (as promised each week) are the directions for everything I created!

//  Tooth Wand  \\

Materials:
Wooden Stick
3 colors of ribbon (gold, light pink, dark pink)
White glitter foam sheet
Glue & glue gun

Directions (images coming soon!):
1) Measure and cut your desired length for the ribbon (I did two length sizes of the wand).
2) Tie the ribbons around the top of the wand. Then place aside

3) Go to google, type in “tooth".
4) Find one you like, right click the image then “copy” and “paste” the tooth image into a
Word document.
5) Adjust the size according to your desired height and width. Then print the tooth photo out.
6) Cut around the tooth to use it for your pattern.
7) Trace the pattern on your white glitter foam sheet. Then flip the pattern over and repeat for the back of the wand.
8) Cut out two small circles for the middle of the wand.
9) Glue gun the two small circles to the center of your wand with your ribbons tied to it.
10) Lastly, to complete the wand. Glue gun the two tooth pieces together.

//  Bag of Teeth  \\

Materials:
White glitter foam sheet
Black letter stickers or sharpie
White elastic 1”
Glue & glue gun
Directions (images coming soon!):
1) Measure the white elastic around your child to fit their body type by starting from the front right or left hip and wrap the elastic pieces up and over their shoulders and across the back meeting again on the back of their hips.
2) Repeat steps 3-7 above for creating the tooth (expect up the size a little).
3) On one of the tooth foam pieces, place your letter stickers in the middle of the tooth for it to read “TEETH.” And or, use a sharpie (I used left over black letters from last week’s costume “Mini Mama-razzi)
4) Glue gun the foam tooth pieces together with the two ends of your elastic piece meeting together in the middle of your tooth.

//  Mini Crown  \\

Materials:
White glitter foam sheet 1x
Scissors
Pencil
Glue & glue gun
Directions (images coming soon!)
1) Create a single design for your crown (2” width and 2” height) with a pen or pencil.
2) Cut around your design and place it on back of your foam sheet (glitter side down).
3) Trace around the design with a pencil and then cut your stencil out.
4) Starting at the bottom left/or/right hand corner of the foam sheet place, then outline around your stencil to create a section of your crown.
5) Slide the stencil down until the end meets your stencil and repeat.
6) Repeat this 5x so at the end, you have 5 points to your crown.
7) Cut out the entire crown frame and then glue gun both ends together.
8) Place your crown down on top of your foam sheet again (glitter side up)
9) Trace around the “outer edge” of your crown then cut, & glue gun the piece to the bottom of your crown.
10) Glue gun a hair clip to the bottom of the crown (with the clip slightly sticking out). Viola!

While you're creating let me know if you have any questions! I'm happy to help!

Crafting my child's Halloween costume with the smell of soup in the crock pot and a steaming cup of coffee next to me on a Sunday afternoon... always seem to comfort the soul this time of year.  : )

Until next week...

Warmly, Steph
